Illusions and I

I stood about half a yard from the mirror some days ago and I saw that I had added weight. I had become ‘hippier‘ or at least, that was what it seemed to me. I moved closer to the mirror to examine my newly developed hips. Lo and behold, I had not grown up to two inches than I had been in the last three months.

This was sad as I felt I should at least add a little flesh but looking at my self, it dawned on mt that something was probably not right with either the reflective or refractive index of the mirror and that was why it appeared I was fatter when I wasn’t.

So is this life. Many things we see clearly by patiently making decisions. Not making decisions not just because they appear as what solves all the problems of the world but because we have examined it and found it to be tested and trusted.

I’m not saying adventure is not good. I’ll never say that ‘cos I like adventure too but of course, wisdom is profitable to direct.

Cheers to the weekend
