Like a plunger

Like a plunger

“Tobi must have washed oil into the sink again” I thought to myself as I tried to make the water flow again. there was nothing visible blocking the flow but it just wasn’t flowing. I put my hand into the water to confirm if there was anything  at the mouth of the drainer. there wasn’t anything.

I took the plunger from beneath the sink and placed it on the drainer. ‘kpoof’ it went the first time, second and third. In less than six seconds, all of the water had drained off.

It occured to me again that God instructs us to be transformed by the renewal of our mind .Every day, there are little blockages, little scum, little foxes that spoil the vineyard and cloud our minds from seeing ourselves as God sees us, Hearing from God and being all that He wants us to be.

We must be really intentional about constant renewal with the word and with prayer. Read. Study. Pray, pray and pray. Pray in tongues.

This is a very short post anyway but I hope you get my point.
