Eeezz like the title is incomplete. Add this “..filled with happiness”.
I went to an office with a sister of mine today and i we walked from the road to the building, holding an empty water bottle in my hand, I met this young girl.
She wouldn’t be more than seven years old anyway and it seemed like she had just finished walking after someone she was begging for money.
I mean, that’s wrong on all levels but i really don’t know the circumstances under which she has found herself.
As she waked towards me, she suddenly looked up as smiled at me. I didn’t really have money on me (it’s follow follow I followed o).
This little girl’s eyes had met mine already and for whatever wierd reason, i couldn’t take my eyes off.
I stretched the empty bottle in my hand towards her. she collected it and smiled at me one more time
The end.
Oh it’s not actually.
I kept walking but I turned back one last time and I caught her still smiling. there was this look of bewilderment but she was still smiling nonetheless.
I am just reminded of seemingly insignificant things we do that makes a lot of difference to people. Let’s Keep doing them and Keep putting smiles on people’s faces.
Xoxo
