In the stillness

In the stillness

In the stillness
In the wee part of the morning
I hear the clock
It goes tick-tock tick-tock
In the quietness
As I lay under the quilt

In this stillness
When the world is not awake yet
I stop to listen
Let me listen to my heart
And then I hear from my head
All the many things I have not
In the quietness
Even this silence is deafening

In this stillness too
The world is still asleep
I want to listen still
And then I hear from my heart
All the things that I have
And the many things I have done
I am gently reminded
Of my hands safe in the master’s
And then softly and gently
My beats in step with the clock
And I smile
As the world awakes

  1. Greetings from Idaho! I’m bored to death at
work so I decided to check out your website on my iphone during lunch break.
I enjoy the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.
I’m surprised at how quick your blog loaded on my phone ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow,
    amazing blog!
